Common Wood Sedge Carex blanda

Soil Moisture and Composition: Prefers mesic to moist soils but also tolerates clay and sandy soils.

Native Habitat: Found in forests, meadows, fields and river banks.

Feature Copy: This is a resiliant and versatile semi-evergreen sedge that is ideal for difficult conditions. It is clump forming and makes a good ground cover for woodland and shade gardens. Thanks to Paul O'hara from Blue Oak Native Landscapes our native sedge mentor.

Height: 20 - 30cm
