Barren Strawberry Geum fragarioides

Soil Moisture and Composition: Prefers mesic rocky, clay loam or humusy soil

Native Habitat: Found in high quality locations including the rocky banks of woodland streams and rocky wooded bluffs.

Feature Copy: Has yellow flowers that grow in cymes of up to 7 flowers with a strawberry like leaf. Spreads by rhyzome to form low spreading colonies.

Bloom Period: June - July

Height: 15cm
